In the world of cloud computing, Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a leading provider that offers a wide range of services to businesses and individuals. The AWS Free Tier allows users to explore and use AWS services for free for a limited time, making it an excellent choice for those looking to get hands-on experience with cloud computing.

In this blog post, we will walk you through the process of creating an AWS Free Tier account , follow the steps to create your AWS account.

1. Open the Browser and hit the URL: aws.amazon.com/console

2. Click on “Create account”

3.Click on New to AWS? Sign up

4. Sign up for AWS Will be opened: Provide the required details :

Fill in the details as explained below………

Root user email address: Used to recover account.

AWS Account name: To identify the account easily.

Click on “Verify email address”.

Enter the Security Verification Code in the Verification answer Box and Click on Submit Button

Check your email . A verification code will be sent to the registered email provided as part of the “Root user email address”

Enter the verification code which you got on registered email: as shown above.

Then Click on “Verify” button.

Now we can see that email verification is successful.

Now Create a password for the root user . Using the following rules

After completing the above steps , Click on “Continue (step 1 of 5)” as shown below.

Select the account plan: Click on Choose free plan

5:- Now we must provide the contact information details like Full name, phone number, address, and country.

Choose the plan for “How do you plan to use AWS?”

Select Personal if you are new to AWS and just want to learn.

Whom should we contact for this account: Enter you Full Name

Change the Country Code as per you Phone Number. And Provide your phone Number:

Choose country or region from the drop-down:

Enter Address:

Enter “City”:

Enter “State, Province, or Region:

Enter “Postal Code”:

Click on “ Agree and Continue (step 2 of 5) “

6:- Now we must provide the Billing information details like Credit or debit card details, expiry date, CVV, and billing address:

Enter Credit or Debit card number:

Provide Expiration date:

Enter CVV:

Enter Cardholder's name:

Don’t Select Save card and charge automatically for future payments.

Leave it as shown below.

Choose billing address:

Choose “No” for PAN details and Click on “Verify and Continue (step 3 of 5)”.

An OTP will be triggered to the registered Mobile number enter the OTP and click on “SUBMIT”.

Now we must “confirm our identity” and fill in the details as shown below

Choose your ownership relation to the account . Select Individual if you are new to AWS and want to just learn.

To verify your identity select the document type (PAN CARD , DRIVING LICENSE , PASSPORT , VOTER ID) , the name on the document must match the name that you chose.

Enter Your DATE of BIRTH.

Enter your selected the document detail (PAN CARD , DRIVING LICENSE , PASSPORT , VOTER ID)

Upload front of Permanent Account Number (PAN) card by clicking on Choose File

Select the I consent box and click on Continue (step 4 of 5)

Click on “Complete sign up “

Now, we have successfully created the AWS Account, and we can see the congratulations page.

Click on “Go to the AWS Management Console “ and explore the AWS Management Console.

Note :-

• Account activation usually takes a few minutes, but it could take up to 24 hours.

• Check your email and spam folder for the confirmation email, which indicates that your account is fully activated and you have full access to all AWS services.

Once activated, you can log in to the AWS Management Console using the email and password you provided during the signup process.
